Humble Beginnings
Our History
In 1957, Jim and Betty Beskau purchased a single truck and a local milk route. With the help of their six boys, they slowly grew the business into numerous milk routes, spanning multiple states. In the 1980's, the local creamery suggested to Jim that he begin hauling milk cartons. This led to the first tractor and trailer in the fleet and expanded operations into regional freight hauling, along with local milk hauling.
Today, Beskau Transport is third-generation owned, and operates nearly thirty trucks throughout the upper Midwest. In addition to hauling dry freight and milk, we also haul sawdust to local farms and have a repair shop for local trucks.

Our Approach
Being in the heavy duty automotive field for years, and knowing the importance of up time. Our approach is simple, start small and keep it honest. We aspire to not overlook the importance of small items that may cause a serious problem. With our approach we try to avoid the problem of doing work that is not necessary, that is also implemented by keeping an open line of communication with the customer. We strive to give the local shop feel, with dealer level expertise.
Shop Services
We offer a full range of repair services. Our dedicated technicians have manufacturer and aftermarket training certificates that ensure your equipment will be repaired right the first time. We specialize in, but are not limited to, heavy duty truck, trailer, and diagnostic services. Beskau Transport Repair will be with you every step of the way, from minor light repairs to complete engine replacement. We have OEM diagnostic software and tooling to ensure our customers’ equipment is diagnosed properly the first time.
